Holiday Highlights, Part One

Today marks the two-year anniversary of when we met for the first time in South Africa. Who knew what adventures were lying ahead! We praise the Lord that although nearly everything in our lives has changed in two years, HE has remained constant as our King and Savior, which was even more evident as we celebrated His birth the past few days.

On Christmas Eve, we started a new tradition (well, being our first Christmas as "The Gabriels", everything was new) to look at Christmas lights. The local newspaper listed the most extravagant and award-winning homes and address. Since we aren't familiar with the city at all, I (Amy) used www.mapquest.com to plan our route. With 19 sights to see, we began our journey.

WOW!

This house was particularly neat. The "O" on the right side is actually a ferris wheel that was spinning with all kinds of Christmas characters.

This home was syncronized music and lights! We have a 30 second QuickTime video that I can email. Leave a comment or email us if you want to see it.
