Our lives in Kentucky....

Well, welcome to the first official post of our blog. Mallory has finished his classes for the semester, and will be free from school until mid-January. Amy just got a job at Kosair Children's Hospital and will start there on January 22, 2006. We are moving to another apartment after Christmas, so see the "Contact Us" page for our new address.

We thought it would be best to give a photo update of some highlights over the past month, so enjoy the photos below.

The Lousiville Slugger Museum... SO MUCH FUN! Amy's aunt & cousin (Aunt Faye & Emily) came to Kentucky for a school conference and we had the pleasure of hanging out with them for a day!!! We were able to tour the factory and see how bats were made. Unfortunately, you can't take pictures in the factory though.

Big bat outside the museum...how could you miss it???

Mallory and Amy posing with the mannequins.

Amy with Aunt Faye and Emily on the pitcher's mound. PLAY BALL!!!

We were also very blessed to be able to go to Gardendale, AL (Amy's home town) for Thanksgiving. It was great to see family and friends and eat MILO'S (Amy's favorite hamburger restuarant, family owned in Alabama only, sadly).

Well, one final picture to show you how things are going up here.... COLD!!!! We had some snow last Thursday and more is predicted for tonight.... I'll be staying inside.
