The New York Times published a front-page article today about Lesotho, the small country in Africa where I (Amy) served for two years. Online, you can read the article or view a video, which highlights the pediatric ward of Queen II hospital. Many of the children now at Beautiful Gate (the orphanage where I served as the nurse) came from this pediatric ward. It always broke my heart to see the children there, and I often volunteered either in the pediatric ward, or labor and delivery
