Well, it's been a while. We've been busy, like everyone else, and neglected to update those of you who check in often. Here's some highlights:

Mallory preached his first sermon (in America) at New Hope Baptist Church in Springfield, KY. David Kizziah, a former Zambian Journeyman with Mal and now seminary study buddy, is the pastor there. His wife, Katie, is a good friend of mine. The sermon was wonderful- He did a great job in both presentation and clarity of the message. I was so proud of my husband.

We had a major lightning and rain storm on Friday night. Saturday morning, we had two major surprises. 1. Water leaked in around our apartment building and the carpet in our hallway was wet. Thankfully, we pay enough in rent to have emergency maintenance that is timely and knowledgeable. (We just can't seem to get away from flooding, can we? ;) ) 2. Our computer took a surge of lightning and became as fried and KFC. Mallory had done hours of research and typed a paper that was due on Monday, and--you guessed it--saved on the fried computer. We went out searching on Saturday for a new computer. The Lord blessed us with a good deal and a very helpful computer tech guy-- he was able to save all of our hard drive! Praise the Lord!

Mallory has a phone interview with a church in Madison, Indiana about a full-time ministerial position on October 8 at 4:00 pm. Please pray for Mallory during this time, and that the Lord would open doors for us to serve!

Business is booming for Gabriel's Good Tidings! The most recent projects were baby announcements for Noah Wilson Sharpe, son of Greg & Laura, school teacher cards, and some wedding invitations are in the pipeline!!
