Andrew Murff was a Journeyman with Mal and I. He also was an MK in Lesotho, and his parents have since returned to the USA. One Sunday evening, Mallory and I were visiting a church here in Louisville, and during the welcome we were reunited with Andrew, or Murff, as we call him. We met his fiancee, now wife, Carrie. We have enjoyed having them in our home and going out to dinner during their engagement. It was a joy to celebrate with them last Saturday!
Because Journeymen become family, we hosted five guests in our home Friday and Saturday night. In addition, Heather, another former Journeyman in Louisville, hosted an additional two. So all together we were ten, representing many different countries in Southern Africa. What fun it was to reunite!
The wedding reception was held at GlassWorks, downtown in Louisville. From the rooftop you could see the entire city, including the Ohio River and into Indiana.
