Mallory is in Peru on a mission trip with the church this week, so John Mark and I came to Gardendale to see my family. On the way down, we stopped at Andrea's house just outside of Nashville. It was so good to see her, and for her to meet to John Mark. Not to mention, it was a great way to break up the trip!
How did John Mark travel, you may ask? Well, he did great until we crossed into Tennessee. (Maybe he has his dad's hatred for UT football???) He screamed through downtown Nashville. But after lunch and some crawling around at Andrea's, he did great all the way to Gardendale.
We also had Butler, our dog in the car. John Mark LOVES Butler. However, Butler doesn't feel the same way in return. Most of the ride, Butler sat up front with me. When John Mark was crying, I kept urging Butler to go back and play with him, but to no avail.
