We've had some recent snow here in Louisville. It's been fun for two southerners who have never seen more than one snow per winter. These are some photos of near our home.

Notice the snow on the hood (or the bonnet, if you speak African English) of the car. I've never had to actually scrape snow off before!
Here's some recent news about us- But first, some history: In New Orleans, Mallory was studying to recieve his M. Div. in Psychology and Counseling. It was a four-year program that combined clinical psychology and counseling with a Christian perspective. When we were relocated to Louisville, the seminary here had a different sort of counseling program. Although similar in some aspects, it wasn't the same and Mallory didn't want to pursue a degree from that type of program. Through some God-ordained appointments, he has a meeting next Monday with a Dean of the school of Social Work and MFT (Marriage and Family Therapy) at UofL (Univ of Louisville). We are excited to see where this may lead.
The recent church burnings in Alabama have hit close to Amy's home. Antioch Baptist Church, located in Centreville, was home to my greatgrandmother, Ada Payne. It is also where she is now buried. Antioch Baptist was damaged in a fire on February 3, but not destroyed. If you are interested in financially assisting these churches who must rebuild, please go here.

On a lighter note, here's a final photo of some flowers that Mallory surprised me with last week. Lilies are my favorite- and he has learned that well. What a sweetie!
