Closer than a brother...

Last weekend my brother was able to come visit us here in Louisville. He and three friends got tickets to a concert downtown, and then crashed at our place for the weekend.

Nothing like practicing injection technique on your little brother! (Just kidding, mom.)

See? Friends again. ;)

So, Matt and his friends went to the concert on Friday night, and planned to leave mid-morning on Saturday. However, we woke up to a blanket of white snow, and the roads were rough, so they stayed an extra night.

While Matt, his friends, and Mallory watched scary movies on Saturday night, I caught up on my paperwork for the job and made a dessert.

One of the guys, either scared from the movie, or just playing with the camera.

Mmmmm.... Cappucino Chocolate Brownies, with a little milk to cut the sweetness.
